Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and The Hub (“The Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the The Hub website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • Athlete — a player whose profile is hosted on the Service.
  • Parent/Guardian — a parent or legal guardian who consents to and is responsible for a minor athlete’s account.
  • Coach/Recruiter — a user accessing the Service to evaluate or contact athletes.
  • Content — any stats, measurements, text, images, video, or other materials posted to the Service.
  • Verified — Content that The Hub has reviewed and marked as verified in good faith.

3. Eligibility & parental consent

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent at registration, is the responsible party for the account, and agrees to these Terms on the athlete’s behalf.
  • For athletes under 13, a parent/guardian must create and control the account in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law (including COPPA).
  • By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to create the account.

4. Accounts & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inaccurate, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms. One athlete profile per account unless otherwise permitted.

5. Your Content & license

You retain ownership of the Content you post. You represent that you own or have the rights to post your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or depict any person without their consent. You grant The Hub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (e.g., resize/transcode), and distribute your Content as needed to operate, promote, and provide the Service — including on public profiles, leaderboards, shareable links, and to coaches/recruiters. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies retained for legal, backup, or records purposes, and except where the Content has already been shared with others.

6. Verification disclaimer

Stats you enter are displayed as self-reported until verified by The Hub. A “verified” mark reflects our good-faith review of submitted evidence (which may include a verification video) and is not a warranty or guarantee of accuracy. The Hub is not responsible for recruiting, scholarship, roster, or other decisions made by any party based on Content or verification status.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, manipulated, or fraudulent information or measurements.
  • Post Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, infringing, or that violates anyone’s privacy or publicity rights.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Scrape, harvest, resell, or use the Service or its data for any unauthorized commercial purpose.
  • Use the Service to contact minors in any manner that violates applicable law or recruiting rules.

8. Scouting, moderation & admin rights

The Hub may review, verify, request verification videos for, edit, hide, or remove any Content, author scouting reports, and moderate the Service at our discretion. We may remove Content or accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe may create legal or safety risk. Scouting reports authored by The Hub are our editorial work product.

9. Coaches & recruiters

Coaches and recruiters may use the Service only for legitimate recruiting/evaluation and must comply with all applicable laws and the recruiting rules of their governing bodies (e.g., NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA). Contact information made available through the Service may not be sold, redistributed, or used for spam.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and content created by The Hub, is owned by The Hub and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted.

11. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services (e.g., hosting, file storage, embedded video). We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices, and your use of them may be subject to their terms.

12. Fees

The core profile is free. If we introduce paid features in the future, the applicable pricing and terms will be presented before you are charged.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any Content is accurate or that it will lead to any recruiting outcome.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hub and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or recruiting opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $100.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Hub harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Hub is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts located in that state, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
