account or using the site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and these Terms. Please read them.

Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Profile info you provide: name, graduation year, positions, height/weight, bats/throws, high school, club team, hometown/state, GPA/test scores (optional), and a bio.
- Media & stats: photos, videos, and measurables (exit velo, velocities, 60/40/shuttle times, etc.) that you or an event add.
- Account info: email and password (passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text). For users under 18 we also collect a parent/guardian name and email.
- Usage: basic activity such as when a college coach clicks your outreach link (so we can show you "who viewed your profile"). We do not read anyone's email.
How we use it
- To build and display your public recruiting profile so college coaches and the public can find and evaluate you.
- To power features you use — rankings, leaderboards, search, the Arcade, and coach outreach.
- To send you account notifications (e.g., a coach viewed your profile, a stat was verified).
Your profile is public. When you make a profile public, your name, class, position, stats,
photos, and videos can be viewed by anyone, including on search engines. Don't post anything you wouldn't want public.
Coach contact information
Our college coach directory contains contact info published on official athletics staff pages. We never
guess or fabricate emails. When you email a coach, the message is sent from your own email app — The Hub
does not send it for you, and we don't email coaches on your behalf.
Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the site
(cloud hosting, and an AI provider that helps rewrite public news blurbs and scouting notes). Public profile
content is, by design, visible to coaches and the public.
Your choices & rights
- Edit or hide your profile, stats, and media anytime from your dashboard.
- Delete your account — contact support@thehubrecruiting.com and we'll remove your profile, stats, media, and login.
- Parents/guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's information.
Minors & Parents (Important)
The Hub is a recruiting tool for high-school-aged athletes, so many users are minors. We take this seriously:
- Under 13: A parent or guardian must create and consent to the account. We require a parent/guardian
name and email and verifiable consent before the profile goes live (in line with COPPA).
- 13–17: We collect a parent/guardian email and encourage parental involvement. Parents may review or
request deletion at any time.
- We only collect the information reasonably needed for recruiting, and profiles are opt-in public.
- Parents: to review or remove your child's data, email support@thehubrecruiting.com.
Terms of Service
Using The Hub
- You must provide accurate information. Don't impersonate anyone or post false stats.
- You own the content you upload (photos, videos, bio). By posting it, you grant The Hub a license to display
it on your public profile and related features.
- Don't misuse the platform: no scraping our data, no spamming coaches, no harassment, no uploading content
you don't have the rights to, no illegal or harmful content.
- Coach contact info is provided for a player's own, individual recruiting outreach only — not for bulk
emailing, resale, or spam.
No guarantee
The Hub is a tool to help you get seen. We do not guarantee recruitment, offers, scholarships, roster
spots, or that any coach will respond. Rankings and ratings are our own evaluations and opinions, not promises
of ability or outcomes.
Accounts & termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms, post false information, or abuse the platform. You
may delete your account anytime.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Hub is not liable for indirect or
consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so
parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use means
you accept the updated terms.
